Set photos from Superman have been absolutely spewing out across the internet. However, one person that’s been strangely absent from them is Nicholas Hoult. Hoult is set to play the film’s main villain in Lex Luthor. While details about his character have been sparse, a new round of set photos suggest bad times are in store for the CEO of LuthorCorp.
These set photos show that Lex Luthor has taken quite a beating, likely suggesting the scene Nicholas Hoult is filming takes place toward the end of the movie. However, if this beating comes from Superman himself or the mysterious DC character is yet to be seeen. Though, for Lex’s sake, let’s just hope he brought his Warsuit!
Superman’s Big Changes To Lex Luthor
The entire cast of Superman is a tad bit younger than most would expect for these iconic heroes, especially when it comes to Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor. However, that doesn’t mean he’s anywhere near less successful. Set photos have suggested that the character will be working closely with the military, potentially as a contractor.
Nicholas Hoult has had high praise of Michael Rosenbaum‘s performance as Lex Luthor in the past, potentially suggesting that his take on the character will be similar. However, given how tight-lipped James Gunn has been about this particular corner of the DC Universe, it’s likely Lex’s true intentions in Superman won’t be seen for some time.
