Tamra Judge on Why It’s Time for Shannon Beador to Leave RHOC, Plus Real Issue With Jenn and “Fatty Photo” Drama

Tamra Judge believes Shannon Beador‘s role on The Real Housewives of Orange County has run its course.

As she reflected on the emotional journey she endured as she filmed season 19 amid Teddi Mellencamp‘s cancer diagnosis, addressed her supposed “fatty photo” and real issue with Jennifer Pedranti, 48, and revealed the favorite one-liner she’s dealt on the show, Tamra, 57, was questioned about whether the Tres Amigas, including Vicki Gunvalson, 63, would ever get back together.

“I tried all season, and [Shannon] holds onto a grudge like nobody’s business,” Tamra explained on E! News. “I mean, the whole show is about conflict and resolution.”

According to Tamra, she believes that Shannon’s inability to move past their issues is reason enough for her to leave the show.

“When you get to a point where you can’t move forward, then move out,” she advised.

At the start of filming on season 19 earlier this year, recalled Tamra, Teddi, 44, “was not feeling well,” experiencing headaches and falling down the stairs.

“I had to go into filming and then go to New Orleans on the show, and it was just devastating to film during that time,” she admitted.

Now, six months later, Tamra said Teddi is doing her best to appear on their podcast, Two Ts in a Pod.

“It’s hard to see her like this. It’s hard to not see her as often. The conversations on the phone are few and far between now because she doesn’t want to sit on the phone and talk, and it’s not easy for her to text,” she revealed. “I miss my friend so badly. We were always together, and we’d meet at the iHeart Studios and do podcasts together, and we’d travel with our podcast and do live shows, and our life was so fast-paced and exciting, and now we’re just waiting.”

While Tamra applauded Dolores Catania, 54, for doing an “amazing job” filling in for Teddi, she said she was hopeful that Teddi would soon be back full-time.

“She’s just gonna beat this. She’s gonna beat it,” Tamra proclaimed.

Moving on to RHOC, Tamra addressed the “former fatty photo of Jen,” as described by Gina Kirschenheiter, 41, noting that the claim stemmed from a conversation she had with Heather Dubrow, 56.

“What I wanted to say, but I couldn’t say because I didn’t want to break the fourth wall, is I felt like she was obsessed with my life, so she wanted to get on the show. She wanted on the show, and that’s why she befriended me, so that’s what it was all about,” Tamra explained. 

According to Tamra, Jennifer was “not even fat” in the photo; she’s just “so skinny” today.

“Heather, when I showed her the picture, she’s like, ‘Oh.’ And I go, ‘Well, she was heavier. She was heavier back then.’ But there was a whole transformation that happened …. It was just me, like, ‘She’s changed.’ And she looks great. She looks beautiful,” Tamra insisted.

“It wasn’t like Slade Smiley throwing a picture up of me on the Jumbotron and saying that I’m the Michelin man like he did, or calling Vicki ‘Miss Piggy’ or anything like that,” she added.

Then, after admitting that she’d “maybe” seen Heather high, describing her as a “good time,” Tamra shared her favorite RHOC phrases.

“I think ‘is your a** jealous of the sh*t that comes out of your mouth?’ is pretty good. But the one that doesn’t die is ‘that’s my opinion.’ Every Cameo, people ask me to end it with that. Everywhere I go, people say it,” she revealed.
