A new update has emerged in the case of Tara Reid’s alleged drugging.
Last month, The Big Lebowski actress was hospitalized after a night at Chicago-area hotel Doubletree. She initially told TMZ she believed she was drugged while at the hotel’s bar, but the Rosemont Police Department cast doubt after telling the outlet they reviewed security footage and found no evidence of such a claim.

Shortly after, the 911 call that was made on behalf of the American Pie actress was released, and in it you can hear Tara groaning and slurring words in the background as the hotel employee describes her as “really inebriated” and in need of “help from the hospital.” Tara responded to the police department’s findings with the following statement:
“Bottom line is no one ends up in the hospital incapacitated for over 8 hours after a drink. Last thing I remember is having one drink and waking up in the hospital the next day without remembering anything. That was the scariest feeling I have ever felt. I felt so helpless. This has been a horrifying experience for me that is severely affecting my mental health. I cannot sleep over this it’s a very scary feeling not knowing what happened to me. I believe I was drugged. Something happened to me.”
As of now, she’s still sticking to her story as she and the police department await test results from the hospital to determine what was in her system that night… However, her claim about having “one drink” doesn’t seem to align with newly-released security footage.
On Friday, TMZ obtained video of Tara sitting at the Doubletree hotel bar in a winter coat and beanie while chatting with multiple men. According to the outlet, two different bartenders brought her glasses of wine, and she drank them both. She then leaves the bar — wine in hand — before returning and sitting with Sean P, the YouTube star she had a smoke break with and thinks is responsible for allegedly drugging her drink. As of now, it’s still unclear exactly what happened that night, but Sean denies drugging Tara. We hope whatever the truth may be, Tara recovers fully mentally and physically from the incident!
