Liam and Hope discuss the officiator of their wedding
Beth overhears Hope and Liam’s conversation regarding the officiator. She expresses her wish to officiate the wedding, leaving the duo shocked. They make her understand that she couldn’t, but Beth insists that she wants to marry them off.
Carter’s thoughts on engagement
Carter reveals to Daphne that Hope told him about her engagement. Daphne mentions that she’s heard the engagement rumors going around and asks how he feels about the change. Carter admits that he’s happy for the couple and looks forward to his own future. He leans in to give Daphne a cheek kiss, but she hesitates. Carter doesn’t mind and says he’s willing to work for that kiss.
Taylor draws boundaries
Sheila wonders where Deacon is, unaware that he’s at Taylor’s office. There, Taylor tells him that their session won’t be a professional one but rather a discussion about them. She brings up their unprofessional behavior from past sessions, calling it inappropriate and insisting it can’t happen again. Deacon admits he often thinks about those moments, but agrees that they should avoid repeating them.
Sheila is counseled
Sheila texts Deacon, asking him to come back to her. At a restaurant, Li checks in on Sheila and offers advice on how she can save her crumbling marriage. Li tells her that patience is key and warns her not to undo the progress she’s made in becoming a better person. She also reminds Sheila that her future lies in Taylor’s hands. Later, at Taylor’s office, Taylor urges Deacon to let go of Sheila’s past mistakes and focus on healing. She also clarifies that there’s nothing between them beyond professional boundaries.
Sheila apologises
At their apartment, Sheila apologizes to Deacon for not being truthful about Luna and betraying him. Sharpe couldn’t stand Sheila’s presence, but reiterates that everyone makes mistakes. Deacon mentions that he’s still hurt but wants to keep their marriage going. She embraces him and realizes that Taylor successfully made him return to her. Meanwhile, Taylor can’t get her mind off of her and Deacon’s hug moment.
