Taylor Swift took a moment to help a struggling fan during her concert in Madrid, pausing mid-song to draw attention to the crowd.
The singer was in the middle of an acoustic version of her song Betty during her May 30 concert when she stopped strumming and pointed into the crowd, telling security, “Ayuda por favor,” meaning, “please help” in Spanish.
While the outcome of the incident is unknown, this isn’t the first time Swift has noticed something in the crowd and stopped mid-performance.
The Love Story singer did the same at her May 24 concert in Lisbon, urging security to help fans saying, “Ayuda por favor. Help them please.”

One week before that, she asked fans during a concert in Sweden to alert her if anyone needed help after spotting a group of people shining torches.
“When you guys are holding a bunch of flashlights up in a group does that mean people need help? Say yes if it means [that],” she asked.
“OK, if I see that again I’m gonna try to put it out,” the singer said.

Her concern comes six months after the tragic death of Brazilian fan Ana Clara Benevides Machado, who died while waiting in line for Swift’s concert during an extreme heatwave.
Swift mourned the 22-year-old fan, taking to her Instagram Stories to write, “I can’t believe I’m writing these words but it is with a shattered heart that I say we lost a fan earlier tonight before my show.
“I can’t even tell you how devastated I am by this. There’s very little information I have other than the fact that she was so incredibly beautiful and far too young.”

The singer said she would not be speaking about the incident on stage, “because I feel overwhelmed by grief when I even try to talk about it.
“I want to say now I feel this loss deeply and my broken heart goes out to her family and friends. This is the last thing I ever thought would happen when we decided to bring this tour to Brazil.”
Swift’s Eras Tour began in March 2023, first throughout North America, South America, Mexico, Australia and Asia. She then took a break before beginning the European leg earlier this month in Paris, concluding it in December 2024.
