Toho Next has released the first teaser trailer for an anime feature film titled Lupin The Third: The Movie. “You still don’t know the real Lupin III. The legendary world-traveling master thief, Lupin III, makes a spectacular return to the screen!”
The movie was directed by Takeshi Koike (Lupin the 3rd: Fujiko’s Lie, Redline) which is produced by studio Telecom Animation Film, with a script by Yuya Takahashi (Lupin the 3rd Part IV) and music by James Shimoji (Redline). Katsuhito Ishii (Redline original creator) serves as creative advisor and TOHO NEXT is distributing the film.
Confirmed cast members include Lupin III voiced by Kanichi Kurita, Daisuke Jigen voiced by Akio Otsuka, Goemon Ishikawa voiced by Daisuke Namikawa, Fujiko Mine voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro, and Inspector Zenigata voiced by Koichi Yamadera.
Toho Next will release Lupin The Third: The Movie in theaters on a roadshow in 2025.
