The Studio premiered on Apple TV+ in March 2025 to universal critical acclaim, receiving praise for its direction, cinematography, and sharply satirical take on the film industry. Like its protagonist, the series both lampoons Hollywood and expresses a deep admiration for the world of cinema. The show has also received attention for its high-profile cameos and inventive filming and editing techniques, especially its extensive use of long takes. Easily one of the breakout shows of 2025, The Studio has already been renewed for a second season.
