The fate of Claire Danes and Matthew Rhys’ Netflix series The Beast in Me has just been revealed.
The crime thriller debuted in November 2025, with Danes playing a writer named Aggie Wiggs, who’s in mourning after the death of her child. When Rhys’ Nile Jarvis moves to the neighborhood after allegedly murdering his wife, Aggie begins writing about the mysterious figure who lives next door, breaking her writer’s block.
Almost a year after the first season was released, Netflix has just renewed The Beast in Me for a second season, with Danes returning as Aggie.
