For Blunt, The Devil Wears Prada was a breakthrough in her career.
Interestingly, in a 2018 interview the actress said she didn’t think a sequel would be a good idea.
“If everyone did it I would be up for it,” she told People at the time.
“I almost hope it doesn’t [happen] because I think sometimes when you sequel everything kind of dilutes how special the original is.”
Blunt has starred in plenty of huge movies since the 2006 hit, including The Young Victoria, Looper, Edge of Tomorrow, Into the Woods, The Girl on the Train, Mary Poppins Returns and Oppenheimer, which scored her an Oscar nomination.
She also teamed up with her husband, John Krasinski, for A Quiet Place and its sequel, both of which he directed.
Blunt and Krasinki, who married in 2010, also share two daughters, Violet and Hazel.
