Venom: The Last Dance is bringing the heat! A new standee shows Sony has plenty of collateral damage in store for their highly-anticipated sequel.
Sony has been surprisingly modest in their marketing for Venom: The Last Dance. Despite the sequel being the only thing fans are excited for out of the studios’ villain-verse, most of the attention in recent weeks has been on their upcoming Kraven the Hunter film. Though given how fans reacted to the Rhino reveal in the film’s latest trailer, it’s attention that may have best been avoided!
However, it’s important to realize that Venom: The Last Dance comes out in less than two months. Sony is running down the wire to bring hype to the sequel, especially given reports indicate the studio has less than high aspirations to continue their live-action endeavors with the franchise. The futuee of Spider-Man’s villains getting films may be entirely on the back of Venom’s success.
Venom: The Last Dance Reveals Its First Standee
While Sony still hasn’t pulled out all the stops to guarantee the film’s success, it seems their efforts are slowly ramping up. A new standee for Venom: The Last Dance has been spotted out in the wild. It doesn’t reveal much about the sequel’s story, but it does highlight the carnage and destruction that is coming to the big screen with the upcoming blockbuster.
It’s likely Sony will be placing this standee, along with other posters and marketing materials, in theaters across the world sometime next month. In tandem, it’s likely that fans should expect at least one or two more trailers for the sequel in the two months before the film’s release. Whether Venom: The Last Dance can salvage the scraps of the franchise is yet to be seen, but it’ll at least be one heck of a final ride!
