“‘When I Wake Up’ is the story of a dream becoming a nightmare,” vocalist Taylor Momsen says. “When a life of excess leads you on a roller coaster that is doomed to crash, but you just can’t see it. It’s a good time.”
The album will precede their Dear God tour, which will hit cities across North America before heading to Europe. Recently, the Pretty Reckless have been on a two-year tour supporting AC/DC on the PWR UP tour.
