Oscar nominee Richard E Grant has starred in a number of hit movies from Saltburn to Gosford Park and even Aussie comedy Kath & Kimderella.
But even the 68-year-old is surprised by the role that he gets spoken to about the most from fans – Spice World: The Movie.
At the UK premiere of his newest film, The Thursday Murder Club, the actor spoke to 9honey Celebrity about his 1997 role.

Grant reminisced about playing the Spice Girls’ manager Clifford in the comedy, a day after bumping into Victoria Beckham in Italy.
“Just yesterday, it was really nice to see her, [again],” he told 9honey Celebrity.
He joked that he and Beckham are so close they share a secret child, before admitting he thoroughly enjoyed the long-overdue catch up.
In a post to social media, Grant shared a selfie of their meeting and raved about the reunion 28 years after working together on the film.

“Stop right now,” he captioned the post, using Spice Girls lyrics.
“I worked with Victoria Beckham on Spiceworld – The Movie, 28 years ago and found ourselves at adjacent lunch tables today on the Amalfi Coast.
“As delightful and warm as you could wish for.”
Grant also revealed the perhaps unexpected highlight of working on the new whodunit film, in addition to working opposite Helen Mirren.
“Having fake tattoos, I liked that,” he told 9honey Celebrity.
His big name co-stars also graced Leicester Square, with Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, Ben Kingsley and Celia Imrie walking the green carpet together.
The star-power quartet play retirees who enjoy solving cold cases, before being thrust into the midst of a murder mystery.

Old Hollywood crimes, murders and mysteries
David Tennant, Jonathan Pryce, Tom Ellis, Daniel Myers and Naomi Ackie round out the ensemble cast of the movie, directed by Chris Columbus of Harry Potter fame.
The film is produced by Steven Spielberg and is based on the internationally best-selling novel of the same name by Richard Osman.
The Thursday Murder Club streams on Netflix from August 28.
