Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello will once again perform as part of the E Street Band when Bruce Springsteen returns to the road in North America this spring.
The artist subbed for E Street Band guitarist Steven Van Zandt during tours in 2013 and 2014 and has frequently worked with Springsteen over the years. Most recently, Springsteen performed his new protest song “Streets of Minneapolis” live for the first time during a surprise appearance at a Morello-organized anti-I.C.E. rally in the city.
Morello also appears on the Springsteen albums Wrecking Ball and High Hopes, while the Boss can be heard in tandem with Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder on a cover of AC/DC’s “Highway to Hell” on Morello’s 2021 album The Atlas Underground Fire.
Springsteen and the E Street Band’s Land of Hope and Dreams tour starts March 31 in, where else, Minneapolis and will run through May 27 in Washington, D.C.
