Invincible is still invincible! It’s time for another look at the bestsellers charts from GlobalComix, as ranked by their popularity algorithm, which take into account engagement (e.g. comments, likes, adds to library) in addition to views. As usual we have two charts – one for big publishers and one for indies.
On the publisher list, titles are remarkably stable. There’s renewed interest in BRZRKR coming off its adaptation announcement at SDCC. Kick-Ass has moved into the top 10, thanks to fans of Invincible and The Boys finding it a great ‘next journey’ in comics. IN addition, Witchblade is also in the Top Ten, matching its topping the Image print sales chart for July, but notably in GlobalComix’s “verticals” (webtoon) format.
Creators
In the indies list, there aren’t any significant changes here, but I’m there a lot of manga is gaining popularity, as we can see from 9 and 10. More manga is moving up within the top 30, so we could see this list could look very different in a few weeks.
