CBS has quietly mapped out the final stretch of its 2025-26 television season. Season-finale dates are now set for some of its biggest returning shows. The network confirmed end dates for a slate of series, ranging from long-running franchises to freshman entries.
CBS reveals season-finale air dates for NCIS shows, Tracker, Matlock and more
CBS has revealed season-finale dates for its returning series, according to Deadline, spanning from late April through late May. The finales begin on April 23 with the Season 2 ender of Matlock, the reboot starring Kathy Bates, and conclude on May 27 with Hollywood Squares. The network announced end dates for shows including the NCIS trio, Tracker, Ghosts, and various reality series.
CBS previously announced series-finale dates for four shows ending in 2026. These are Watson (May 3, two seasons), The Neighborhood (May 11, eight seasons), DMV (May 11, one season), and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert (May 21, eight seasons).
The NCIS franchise wraps across three dates. NCIS: Origins concludes Season 2 on May 5. NCIS ends Season 23 on May 12, and NCIS: Sydney closes Season 3 the same night. Tracker wraps Season 3 on May 24. Ghosts ends Season 5 on May 21, alongside Elsbeth (Season 3) and Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage (Season 2).
Reality programming also has confirmed end dates, with Survivor airing its milestone Season 50 finale on May 20 and America’s Culinary Cup closing Season 1 on May 13. 60 Minutes wraps Season 58 on May 17, and 48 Hours ends Season 39 on May 16.
Friday nights close out with Fire Country (Season 4, May 22), Sheriff Country (Season 1, May 22), and Boston Blue (Season 1, May 22). FBI ends Season 8 on May 18, alongside the Season 1 finale of CIA, while Marshals wraps its first season on May 24.
