They defined fashion in the ’90s, and now ‘the supers’ are back with the official trailer for their upcoming tell-all docuseries, The Super Models.
The four-part Apple TV+ series will take a nostalgia trip to look back at the success of the ‘Fab Four’, dubbed “the original influencers”.
The OG supermodels – Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista and Christy Turlington – come together to exclusively discuss their careers and decades long friendship.

“It wasn’t about the fashion. It was about the women. That’s what a supermodel is,” the trailer begins.
“You see our photos, so you feel that you know us,” Campbell prefaces as the trailer shows archive footage and pictures of the four iconic models across their careers.
This is the first time the models are coming together in their fifties after they dominated print and runway fashion in the ’80s and ’90s.

Naomi Campbell defends latest controversial fashion move
The trailer features exclusive interviews from the ‘Fab Four’, who give audiences a peak behind the catwalk as they share the trials and tribulations they’ve faced in the industry.
“I was not seen as a person who had a voice in her own destiny,” Crawford admits.
Evangelista then reveals the time she felt she “didn’t belong” in the fashion world after she was told “to lose five pounds”.

“I would do all these great shows, wear all these beautiful dresses, but then it would come time for the advertising, and I would not be included,” Campbell candidly confesses in the trailer.
The docuseries will also look back at the time “everything changed” after the ‘Fab Four’ appeared in George Michael’s music video for Freedom ’90 in 1990.
To discuss the impact the supermodels had on fashion today, the series will feature interviews from designers such as Marc Jacobs, Donatella Versace, Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, Vivienne Westwood and more.
The Super Models will be available to stream on Apple TV+ on September 20, in between New York and Paris fashion weeks.
As well as the official documentary series, Vogue’s September issue highlights the supers as ‘The Greatest of All Time’ as the ‘Fab Four’ appear together on the cover.
In the late ’80s to mid-’90s, high fashion went from a niche aspirational hobby to a pillar of mainstream entertainment—and at the center of this transformation were Christy, Naomi, Cindy, and Linda,” the magazine captioned their Instagram announcement post for the issue.
Vogue then shared the upcoming series is a look into the “career, love, family, and what life is really like inside the “Supermodel bubble.”
