The Asylum has released a trailer for its upcoming action disaster movie Planetquake. This production company makes the worst movies, but there’s an audience out there that enjoys watching them for some reason.
If you couldn’t tell from the title, the movie involves earthquakes happening all over the world. The synopsis reads: “A tectonic shift deep below the Mariana Trench causes a series of ever escalating earthquakes. If a team of leading seismologists fails to stop the disaster, the events will break apart the Earth, resulting in billions of casualties.”
The movie looks just as ridiculous as it sounds, and it comes from director Monroe Robertson and it stars Michael Paré, Erica Duke, and Anthony Jensen.
Planetquake will be playing in select theaters from January 26 to February 1. It will also be released on Digital platforms on January 26.
