Trailer For The Final Season of THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY

Netflix has released a full trailer for the fourth and final season of its action-adventure series The Umbrella Academy.

The Hargreeves siblings will finish the job they started, and they have one last shot to save the world. This time, they’re joined by Nick Offerman, who will play a big role in this next chapter of the story.

In the final season, “The Hargreeves siblings have scattered after the climactic showdown at the Hotel Oblivion led to a complete reset of their timeline. Stripped of their powers, each is left to fend for themselves and find a new normal – with wildly varying degrees of success.

“Yet the trappings of their uncanny new world prove too hard to ignore for very long. Their father Reginald, alive and well, has stepped out of the shadows and into the public eye, overseeing a powerful and nefarious business empire.

“A mysterious association known as The Keepers holds clandestine meetings believing the reality they’re living in is a lie and a great reckoning is coming.

“As these strange new forces conspire around them, the Umbrella Academy must come together one last time – and risk upsetting the shaky peace they’ve all endured so much to secure – to finally set things right.

The Umbrella Academy Season 4 will see the return of Elliot Page as Viktor, Tom Hopper, Emmy Raver-Lampman as Allison, Robert Sheehan as Klaus, David Castañeda as Diego, Aidan Gallagher as Number Five, Justine H. Min as Ben, Ritu Arya as Lila, and Colm Feore as Reginald. 

New cast members include David Cross, Nick Offerman, and Megan Mullally. There are also Season 3 characters including Justin Cornwell (I Am the Night) as Marcus, Britne Oldford (Hunters) as Fei, Jake Epstein (Suits) as Alphonso, Genesis Rodriguez (Big Hero 6) as Sloane, and Cazzie David as Jayme, as well as an Existential Dread Inducing Psykronium Cube playing the role of Christopher.

The final season has “been largely written” by the showrunner of the series Steve Blackman and he returned to the series to close it out.

Blackman said in a statement: “I’m so excited that the incredibly loyal fans of The Umbrella Academy will be able to experience the fitting end to the Hargreeves siblings’ journey we began five years ago. But before we get to that conclusion, we’ve got an amazing story ahead for season four, one that will have fans on the edge of their seats until the final minutes.”

The series finale will consist of only 6 episodes and it will premiere on August 8, 2024.
