In the latest Marvel Disney+ series, Wonder Man, the character Simon Williams (Yahya Abdul Mateen II) remembers going with his dad to see the campy superhero/sci-fi adventure film Wonder Man, which ends up inspiring him as a kid to become an actor.
Then in present day, Williams finds out that legendary filmmaker Von Kovak (Zlatko Burić) is directing a modern-day reboot, and he sets his sights on landing the lead role.
Now, Marvel Studios has released a retro trailer for that 80s movie, which you can check out below. Also, Andy Park, who served as the Visual Development Supervisor on the show, has released a series of concept art from the show’s development complete with several costume and hair designs for the superhero Wonder Man.
