‘The Life of Chuck’ is an Upcoming film adapted from Stephen King’s 2020 novel. Written and directed by Mike Flannagan, the film stars Tom Hiddleston as Charles “Chuck” Krantz, and younger Chuck, portrayed by Jacob Tremblay and Benjamin Pajak.
The film will tell the story in three acts, that will be presented in reverse chronological order. It will revolve around Chuck’s life until his death at 39 years old, due to a brain tumor. Audience members will see the story of Chuck throughout his adolescence, adulthood, and fatherhood, leading up to his sudden death. ‘The Life of Chuck’ premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 6, 2024, and won a People’s Choice Award.
The cast also stars Mark Hamill, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Karen Gillan, Mia Sara, and more.
The film will be in theaters in the US, June 6th, 2025.
