More than 15 years after “The Social Network” became a defining film of the digital age, Aaron Sorkin is returning to the world of Facebook with “The Social Reckoning,” a gripping new drama inspired by the real-life events behind the explosive ‘Facebook Files’ investigation.
The newly released teaser trailer offers a first look at Jeremy Strong stepping into the role of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, while Mikey Madison stars as whistleblower Frances Haugen and Jeremy Allen White portrays Wall Street Journal reporter Jeff Horwitz.
The film follows Haugen’s decision to expose internal company documents that revealed troubling information about Facebook’s impact on society, setting off one of the most significant corporate whistleblower stories in recent history.
