Madison looked back with a touch of nostalgia and a liberal pinch of humor on her breakout role in Zola. The entertainer took to Instagram to share a heartfelt yet humorous explanation about her first very adult movie role, dubbing it her favorite so far. Alongside the caption was an immensely funny clip of Madison giving an extremely exaggerated prayer asking for, well, quite particular kinds of blessings.

Starting with a more mock-serious introduction, Madison says, “Dear Heavenly Father, we come to you thanking you today for all the bounties that you bestowed upon us,” hands clasped and holding the pose a little too long in reverence. However, she soon started belting out the “real” requests. “Lord, we are asking you to send us NIGAS. Send us NIGAS.” The more she continued, saying things about “good credit” and other–let’s say–“assets,” the glib and hilarious it got. She chuckled and almost lost herself: “I know you’re sitting in with a big dick.” Madison closed it out shouting “Amen!” and laughing until she could hardly catch her breath.
Madison captioned the post: “I’ve been so many characters on the movie and TV screen but ‘HOLLYWOOD’ was my favorite because it was my first role in the movie theatre!” She then proceeded to give another shout-out to Zola, now available for streaming on Paramount+ and Showtime.
Just like commentaries, love and laughs poured in. “Girl you be on my screen all day. Congrats, you definitely deserve it boo,” chimed a fan, whilst another declared, “You are a comedic genius! One day they will be comparing you to Lucille Ball and all the rest!” It grabbed many in a grip of resonance as their voices joined in with Madison’s prayer. “Tell Him to Send me One Too Mother IM ready,” joked a follower, while another joined the chorus, “Send us niggas is my prayer everyday titi.”
No surprise, somebody was not laughing upon reading the post. The person wrote: “Now this isn’t a joke. This isn’t you praying,” only to drown in laughter and praise.
Zola, based on viral Twitter threads, was a breakthrough for Madison, setting her apart from the loyal audiences that stood by her. With anything less than subtle exuberance, she turned on the natural charm and comedic timing for her portrayal of “Hollywood” and thereby stood her ground on the big screen. She has since been building her brand on unapologetic humor and authenticity–just the way she is in social media, TV, or acting.
The post is an example of why she is so loved-the weaponization of sincerity laced with outrageous humor made even a slight career reflection go viral. Her prayer cannot mean but good for her-if she isn’t doing this in jest, then she’s coming for real! So from jokes to prayers, Ts Madison is one story humor can never get enough of.

In any case, if you have yet to see Zola, that beautiful moment is now. But who knows? Maybe Madison’s prayer will bring some well-deserved blessings upon her fans. Well, good credit and big energy are always in demand. Amen to that!
