Here’s a weird partnership that I didn’t see coming! The iconic Universal Monsters from Universal Pictures will be merging with Care Bears in a wild mash-up that includes toys, apparel, accessories, stationery, home décor, collectibles, plush, and health and beauty care.
The Care Bears x Universal Monsters deal comes from Cloudco Entertainment and Universal Products & Experiences and features “terrifyingly cute pairings like Grumpy Bear as Frankenstein’s Monster, and Cheer Bear as The Bride of Frankenstein, bringing together the warmth of Care Bears with the mystique of Universal Monsters.”
The diverse range will also include “cuddly yet eerie items ranging from stylish apparel and plush and spooky health and beauty care to playful Loungefly bags and accessories including a Bedtime Bear Mummy Mini Backpack and Card Holder and adorable Funko Pop! figures.”
Adding to this lineup, “Universal UNIVRS stores at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood will offer an array of spooky fun fashion apparel inspired by these mashups this fall.
Also, this fall, an expanded range of apparel, accessories and collectibles will be available at various retailers as well.

These products will start to be released soon at Hot Topic with select items available now and additional product drops planned throughout the summer and fall.
