Oprah Winfrey made a surprise appearance during the Democratic National Convention in Chicago on August 21, 2024, hitting the stage shortly after Nancy Pelosi gave her speech.
The TV icon has a long history with the city of Chicago, hosting her popular daytime show from there for 25 years.
Winfrey similarly threw her support behind Barack Obama back in 2008.
