Céline Dion made a rare appearance at a hockey game in Boston amid her ongoing health battle.

The singer, 55, who has been battling Stiff Person Syndrome since 2022, was spotted jamming along in the crowd at the Boston Bruins vs New York Rangers game on Friday.

The jumbotron caught Dion singing along to on Jovi’s hit Livin’ On a Prayer in the TD Garden stadium stands along with her twin sons Nelson and Eddy, 13.

In an NESN video posted to X (formerly known as Twitter), the I’m Alive singer belted out the Bon Jovi classic from her seat before standing up to show off her air guitar moves.

In another jumbotron clip, the superstar was shown dancing animatedly as she blew a kiss to the camera, earning lots of cheers from the crowd.

“Celine Dion was at the bruins game tonight… cried for that. Made the 5-2 loss sting less,” one person wrote on X.

“With everything she’s been going through health wise she looks great. What an unexpected surprise to see her in the stand for the B’s,” another said.

Before taking her seat to watch the Rangers beat the Bruins, Dion surprised the Boston hockey team with a pre-game visit in the locker room.

In a video posted to the Boston Bruins social media, Dion added her own hilarious flair to read out – or in some cases sing – the starting lineup for the game.

“Thank you so much for getting ready for me tonight,” she began with a joke, pointing at one of the players who was shirtless, which earned a laugh from his teammates.

“Now, THAT’S a legendary lineup read,” the video was captioned.

In November 2023, Dion attended a hockey game in Las Vegas with her sons, which marked her first public appearance in years after her health diagnosis.

The performer first revealed she had been diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome – a neurological condition which causes spasms – in 2022.

“Unfortunately, these spasms affect every aspect of my daily life, sometimes causing difficulties when I walk and not allowing me to use my vocal cords to sing the way I’m used to,” she explained her condition to fans back in 2022.

Dion’s surprise sport appearance in Boston comes just days after she opened up about her health battle being one of ‘the hardest experiences’ of her life.

Since sharing her heartbreaking diagnosis, Dion has stopped touring and performing live, making the occasional rare appearance in public.

In February, Dion surprised fans when she stepped onto the stage at the 2024 Grammy Awards to present Album of the Year to Taylor Swift.
