Maggie Baugh has taken time away from Keith Urban’s tour amid his divorce from Nicole Kidman.
Baugh has been a guitar player on Urban’s High and Alive World Tour, which kicked off earlier this year. The pair first collaborated in 2024, when Urban asked her to perform with him at the CMT Music Awards. After the event, Urban invited Baugh to join his band on the then-upcoming tour.
“Nobody in this airport knows I played to 21,000 people in a stadium yesterday with Keith Urban,” Baugh joked in a September 2025 vlog. “Someone pinch me … this was a dream!”
After news broke of Urban and Kidman’s split in September, footage from Urban’s past concerts resurfaced online that fueled affair rumors between Urban and Baugh. According to various social media clips, Urban changed the lyrics of his song “The Fighter,” which is about Kidman, while pointing and shouting out Baugh, leading to speculation that there was something more going on between the musicians.
Baugh’s father denied the rumors about Baugh and Urban on his Facebook page, writing, “NO. Just No.”
While Baugh has not addressed the rumors herself, remarks she previously made about her decision to avoid dating any fellow musicians have since resurfaced.
“There’s always been a rule you can’t date the band members because what happens if we break up?” Baugh said in a 2017 interview with Piper’s Picks.
Urban has also not publicly addressed the online speculation regarding his relationship with Baugh.
Urban has, however, decided to remove “The Fighter” from his setlist. Baugh did not perform with the country music star during his first show since Kidman filed for divorce, either. Baugh also announced her new song, “The Devil Win,” which dropped on October 10.
Ahead of the track’s release, Baugh shared a first look at the song, which talks about fighting off “feelings.”
“I don’t know what the hell I believe in / I don’t know how to heal my soul / Or how to fight this feeling and it’s a damn good place to go / No matter how close I get to the burning edge / Tempting as it is, I won’t let the Devil win,” Baugh, 25, sang in a video shared via Instagram on October 9.
