Fans finally have their first look at Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow! Set photos for the upcoming DC Universe project have finally trickled their way online.
Despite having been filming for over two months, almost no set photos from Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow have found their way online. Understandably so, of course. The film is based on one of the most texturally rich comics of the modern age, so almost all of it is likely to be shot on a green screen or sound stage. Even still, this has been disappointing to fans hoping to get a tease of the more cosmic edges of the DC Universe.
Yet as filming seemingly reaches its midpoint, the cast and crew of Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow are finally being taken to the outside world! A whole swathe of set photos have been taken during the construction of the DC Universe production. While they don’t reveal much, they do confirm that some absolutely sprawling set pieces will be made, likely trying to bring the feel of a harsh alien colony all the way down to the third rock from the sun.

Who Is The Villain Of Supergirl: Woman Of Tomorrow?
Though it seems not all is peachy in the DC Universe. The most recent batch of set photos suggests that Milly Alcock’s character will be facing some stiff challenges in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. Along with a new set being built, the wardrobe department is bringing in tanks and armor. And while there’s been no actors to wear them so far, it does suggest that fans may be getting their first look at the villain of the film sooner than later.

With the quality of these photos, it’s hard to tell exactly who will be wearing this armor in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. However, anyone who has read the comic could bet dollars to donuts that they likely belong to the Barbond’s Brigands, a group of genocidal space pirates joined by Krem of the Yellow Hills. If that’s true, it seems this entry into the DC Universe may be darker than most fans might have expected.
Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is set to release on June 26, 2026. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the future of the DC Universe and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
