Patty Jenkins’ Marvel Girl 3 is now not transferring ahead at Warner Bros.
As reported by THR, DC Universe heads James Gunn and Peter Safran have determined that the movie didn’t match their present imaginative and prescient. It’s acknowledged that the duo informed Jenkins, who had not too long ago submitted her script that was co-written with DC mainstay Geoff Johns, that they weren’t transferring ahead with it in its present type. Jenkins beforehand directed and co-wrote each Marvel Girl and the critically panned Marvel Girl 1984.
The information comes after a report that Black Adam 2 and a possible Hawkman stand-alone film have been in growth at Dwayne Johnson’s Seven Bucks Productions (though THR dispute that and says a sequel is “unlikely”) and that the discharge date for The Flash had been moved up by every week.
The subsequent DC Universe launch can be Shazam! Fury of the Gods, which releases Might 17, 2023. It will likely be adopted by The Flash starring the troubled Ezra Miller, Blue Beetle, and Aquaman and the Misplaced Kingdom. The long run afterward is presently unsure as Gunn and Safran determine upon their 10-year plan for the DCU.
