Zazie Beetz Won’t Return for MCU Sequel

Zazie Beetz will not be in the Deadpool 3 cast.

The third movie in the Deadpool series will be set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film will bring back some familiar faces, such as Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson/Deadpool and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. However, one key cast member from Deadpool 2 will not be returning in Deadpool 3.

When Decider asked about her thoughts on the WGA strike preventing Reynolds from going off-script in the new film, Zazie Beetz replied, “Well, I’m actually not in Deadpool 3, so I don’t know what they’re doing [about improvisation]. I’m assuming they’re probably taking a pause…I’m excited to watch it.”

She previously played Domino, a character whose superpower is luck.

When will Deadpool 3 come out?

Deadpool 3 will release on May 3, 2024, by Marvel Studios. It will be part of Phase Five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it will be their first R-rated film. The movie has been moved up from its previous November 8 release date.

The film will star Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Morena Baccarin, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, Brianna Hildebrand, Shioli Kutsuna, Stefan Kapičić, Rob Delaney, Emma Corrin, and Matthew Macfadyen.
