Tom Holland, 27, and Zendaya, 26, are the blueprint for co-stars to lovers.
The pair fell in love after starring as on-screen couple Peter Parker and MJ in Marvel’s Spider-Man franchise.
Recently the rumour mill went wild with speculation the Hollywood couple called it quits after Zendaya removed all her Instagram followers – including her own beau.

But the Spider-Man star quickly shut down those breakup rumours this week with a single picture posted to his Instagram story.
After Zendaya made a stylish splash at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week for the Schiaparelli show, her boyfriend couldn’t help but gush over her chic look.
Holland shared a black and white pic of his girlfriend in Paris to his story along with three heart eye emojis.
If that wasn’t enough to quell the breakup rumours, the Marvel actor also shared a video of Zendaya’s look to his story, which played to the track Cupid’s Chokehold by Gym Class Heroes.

The lyrics of the song sing “take a look at my girlfriend, she’s the only one I got”, which prompted Holland to hilariously caption his Instagram story with “This was made for me,” along with a laughing face emoji.
Over the years, the couple have tended to keep their relationship out of the limelight, with Holland previously opening up on Jay Shetty’s podcast about why the pair are private with their romance.

“My relationship is the thing I keep most sacred,” Holland told the host. “I don’t talk about it.”
The Uncharted actor added that he tries his best to keep his relationship with Z “as private as possible.”
“We both feel like that is the healthiest way for us to move on as a couple, so I do try to keep as removed from Hollywood as possible,” Holland shared.

July 11, 2016 – Zendaya made her debut on Tom Holland’s Instagram account after the pair had recently been cast in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Holland shared a snap of the pair in the pool, captioning the post ‘Summer Sunday’s’.
Holland later confirmed that the co-stars had become good friends off-screen.
“We are like the best of friends,” the actor told People before the premiere of their action flick Spider-Man: Homecoming.
“I’m very glad I have a friend like her,” Holland added, saying that Zendaya had been helping him navigate his newfound fame.

August 8, 2017: Zendaya made it clear the co-stars are just friends after dating rumours following their press tour.
In July, People reported a source close to the pair said the actors were dating after hitting it off during filming.
However, a month later Z put the rumours to bed.
“”We are friends,” The Euphoria actress told Variety. “He’s a great dude. He’s literally one of my best friends.”
May 8, 2018 – Holland was just a blown away as the rest of us at Zendaya’s 2018 Met Gala look which the actor posted to his Instagram page.

August 2019 – Zendaya was rumoured to be dating her Euphoria co-star Jacob Elordi after being spotted in Greece.
July 2020 – Tom Holland was believed to be dating Nadia Parkes after the pair were said to be spending lockdown together.
July 3, 2021 – The Spider-Man co-stars were pictured kissing in car after being spotted out for dinner a few nights before, officially sending the internet into a frenzy.
They were then spotted later that same day leaving Zendaya’s mum’s home in the Silver Lake neighbourhood.
August 22, 2021 – Holland and Z made another public appearance as they attended a friend’s wedding together.
The co-stars weren’t doing much to refute the dating rumours as they put on a loved display, being pictured sitting next to each other and holding hands.

September 1, 2021 – Tom Holland shared a sweet birthday message for his rumoured girlfriend.
The actor posted a cute pic of him in his Spider-Man costume with Zendaya behind him taking the photo of the pair in the mirror.
Holland captioned the birthday post: “My MJ, have the happiest of birthdays. Gimme a call when your up xxx”

October 12, 2021 – Zendaya gushed about her Spider-Man during an interview for her InStyle magazine cover story, saying that he has handled the pressure of the role “so well”.
The actress continued her praise, saying that Holland is “a fun time”.
“Very charismatic, can make anybody feel comfortable and have a good laugh and a good chat. A good chat — I sound so British.”
October 19, 2021 – Holland posted a picture of Zendaya from the Dune film premiere.
The actor showed he is boyfriend goals as he let the look speak for itself, simply captioning the black and white photo “Dune ?”.
November 17, 2021 – Holland and Zendaya finally addressed those viral paparazzi snaps of the kissing in the car.
Speaking to GQ, Holland told the publication that the downside to fame is “privacy isn’t really in our control anymore, and a moment that you think is between two people that love each other very much is now a moment that is shared with the entire world.”
He added that the pair had felt “robbed of [their] privacy” after the photos leaked.
Zendaya added that she shared Holland’s sentiment that some thing “you wish were your own.”

December 16, 2021 – Zendaya congratulateed Holland after it is announced he will reprise his role as Spider-Man in future Marvel films.

Holland was in the city promoting his new film Uncharted before he was seen heading out to enjoy a nice dinner with his girlfriend.

So long game, probably making a movie with each other definitely helps when the characters you’re playing are falling in love with one another, you can sort of blur the lines a little bit.
