“I totally agree. I had actually enjoyed the Crime Junkie podcasts until they did an episode on a topic that I actually know something about. The actual crime (which was really a tragic accident) had been thoroughly investigated, and conspiracy theories had been debunked years ago. I’m listening to the podcast, and the entire thing was one host describing the potential crime to the other, and then both of them gasping for a full hour. It was despicable. Exploitative and dishonest journalism AT BEST.”

“This one pisses me off. I wasn’t a big fan of their podcast, but I had listened to a few episodes here and there. When the plagiarism allegations came out, I unfollowed and never went back. I was shocked recently to hear how popular they are (especially with how annoying the hosts’ delivery is), and it seems like nothing consequential came of them being caught [allegedly] stealing from others.”
