There’s a new architectural showstopper making waves on the Westside and it’s not a pop-up restaurant or boutique hotel. Meet 700 Broadway, the just-unveiled residential masterpiece from Related California, blending beachside ease with city energy in the heart of Santa Monica.
Rising eight stories tall, the project isn’t just another apartment building — it’s a destination. Picture nearly an acre of private green space (yes, in Santa Monica), a members-only-style Equinox Fitness Club, and a 60,000-square-foot upscale grocer downstairs. It’s the kind of spot that seems designed for the Euphoria cast between takes or a quiet weekend for LA’s creative crowd who crave luxury without losing the surf-town soul.
“More than just a place to live, 700 Broadway will be the ultimate living experience in one of America’s most storied beach towns,” says Gino Canori, President at Related California.

And he’s not exaggerating…
Designed by LARGE Architecture with interiors from AD100 design icons Marmol Radziner, 700 Broadway feels like a love letter to old-school Santa Monica. Think classic brick facades reimagined with sleek curves and glass, all wrapped around a central courtyard that evokes a European piazza.
Inside, it’s all about texture and tone: oak cabinetry, quartzite counters, natural stone, and a light-filled aesthetic that feels equal parts Malibu calm and Downtown edge. “Every space was created to balance beachside ease and city energy,” notes Stephanie Hobbs, Design Principal at Marmol Radziner. “It’s timeless, and it will only get more beautiful with age.”
The amenities? They read like a five-star resort brochure. Residents have access to over 67,000 square feet of curated lifestyle spaces, from a rooftop deck with an ocean-view lap pool, hot tub, and fire pits, to “The Grove,” a private park dotted with 100-year-old olive trees. There’s even a speakeasy-style lounge, The Reserve, complete with a secret bar, poker lounge, screening room, and two-lane bowling alley.

And for anyone working from home, The Office co-working space and The Lounge social hub make WFH feel more like WFA (work from anywhere — preferably with a skyline view).
The 700 Collection, the building’s penthouse-level residences, takes things even further with marble-clad kitchens, 10-foot ceilings, and panoramic ocean views worthy of a luxury magazine spread.
Studios start at $3,995, with one-bedrooms from $5,555, and the top-tier three-bedrooms reaching $12,450 — not exactly starter prices, but this isn’t your typical apartment building. It’s the kind of place where wellness meets design meets status symbol.
So, if your idea of LA living involves morning yoga at Equinox, a stroll through a private park, and sunset drinks overlooking Malibu, 700 Broadway might just be the Westside’s newest fantasy made real.
