The number one show on Prime Video this week is Maxton Hall: The World Between Us, a German young adult series that just released its sophomore season. A soapy character drama following students at a prestigious English boarding school, the series is easily one of the biggest international YA hits of recent years. However, the streaming service is home to a lot more great content, including shows for audiences of all ages. Here’s our selection of the three best shows we think you should watch on Prime Video this week.

‘Bat-Fam’ (2025)

Created by Mike Roth and Jase Ricci and based on characters from DC’s Batman comics, Bat-Fam is an animated superhero comedy series that serves as a follow-up to the 2023 animated film Merry Little Batman. Like the movie, the series is centered on Bruce Wayne, Damian Wayne, and Alfred Pennyworth, exploring their lives together at Wayne Manor alongside three new guests. The show’s voice cast includes Luke Wilson, Yonas Kibreab, and James Cromwell, reprising their roles from the film as Batman, Damian, and Alfred, with Haley Tju, London Hughes, Michael Benyaer, and Bobby Moynihan in key roles.

A playful, warm, and charming Christmas movie, Merry Little Batman earned near-universal acclaim, so its sequel series was highly anticipated by fans ahead of its release, and it looks like the show has successfully captured everything that made the movie so great. This burgeoning universe offers a fun, all-ages world that takes a light-hearted approach to its traditionally grim characters, and both movie and show are entertaining, delightful romps that the whole family can enjoy. Is it the best Batman show ever? That’s a matter of taste. But it’s certainly the freshest take on the character we’ve had in a while.

‘Maxton Hall: The World Between Us’ (2024 – Present)

Based on Mona Kasten’s 2018 novel Save Me, Maxton Hall: The World Between Us is a German romantic drama. Set in a prestigious English boarding school, the series stars Harriet Herbig-Matten as Ruby Bell, a brilliant young woman who gets into Maxton Hall on a scholarship and finds herself at odds with her wealthy classmates, especially the arrogant James Beaufort (Damian Hardung). The show also features Sonja Weißer, Eidin Jalali, Fedja van Huêt, Justus Riesner, Andrea Guo, and more in recurring roles.

An addictive young adult romance drama with archetypal but interesting characters, Maxton Hall was a major hit when it first premiered in 2024, becoming the most popular non-American show on Prime Video and ranking at number one in over 120 countries. The show’s international success earned it a renewal for a second season, which premiered on November 7, 2025, and shot the series to the top of the charts once again. If you, like many others, find yourself falling in love with the show’s compelling melodrama, you’ll be happy to know that a third and final season is already in the works.

1

‘Entourage’ (2004 – 2011)

Created by Doug Ellin, Entourage is an HBO comedy-drama series executive-produced by Ellin, Mark Wahlberg, and Stephen Levinson, among others. Loosely inspired by Wahlberg and his friends, the film follows Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier), a fictional A-lister, and his childhood friends from Queens, New York, as they try to further their careers in Los Angeles. Besides Grenier in the central role, the show also features Kevin Connolly, Kevin Dillon, Jerry Ferrara, Jeremy Piven, Debi Mazar, Perrey Reeves, Rex Lee, Rhys Coiro, Gary Cole, Emmanuelle Chriqui, and Scott Caan as key characters.

A satirical take on the Hollywood lifestyle, Entourage was quite favorably received throughout its eight-season run on HBO, though it does start to drag a bit towards the end. While its writing may be a bit uneven, the show is a hilarious watch with an entertaining cast of characters. The series earned several accolades during its original broadcast, including 26 Primetime Emmy Award nominations, 14 Golden Globe nominations, six SAG Award nominations, and a Peabody. A film adaptation was released in 2015, also titled Entourage, which continues the show’s story.
