Kanye West went deep — really, really deep — when talking to a fashion influencer.
So, Ye is in Japan, as he often tends to be. And at one point on Thursday, he was tracked down by the TikTok fashion influencer @mysteryfashionist to do an interview about his fit.
The clip was very short, and the interview was undoubtedly intended to be something fun and simple about what the Hurricane rapper was wearing. But Kim Kardashian‘s ex turned it into a legit cry for help!

It all started when the TikToker asked Ye to introduce himself. To that, the Chicago native responded:
“I’m Ye from Chi.”
So far, so good. And true!
Then, when the TikToker asked Ye about how he would rate his outfit, the music mogul said he was always on point and went into the specifics of what he was wearing:
“It’s always a ten out of ten. I got the original Yeezy 950 boots on. And Gosha did the pop-up today, so the rest of it’s all Gosha.”
Still so far, so good! And also true! LOLz!
But things quickly got concerning from there. The interviewer next asked this great question:
“What’s a fashion trend you regret participating in?”
Smart! We’re on the edge of our seats for the answer!
And, uhhh, well, here’s how Ye responded:
“Life.”
Um…
