On last night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Tamra Judge got emotional about her estranged daughter, Sidney Barney.
Interestingly, Shannon Beador, who Tamra, 59, has had a slew of issues with, was the one to comfort her.
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Tamra addressed Shannon, 62, being the one to be there for her during that tough moment.
“It kind of meant everything to me,” Tamra shared. “Because me and Shannon have gone in so many, you know, ups and downs through the past 12 years of knowing each other. And there was a scene where… they didn’t show it, but I said, ‘You know what, you and I have gone through so much, but you’ve never villainized me for the situation I’m going through.’”
“It just meant a lot for Shannon to be there because, you know, whenever somebody gets mad at me, their go-to is, ‘Your own daughter hates you,’” Tamra added. “You know, and it’s so much deeper than that, and a lot of things I haven’t even talked about, and I don’t ever want — I hope that we can just put this to rest. It’s a family situation that is not good, and it’s sad.”
One hot topic that came up was Tamra’s thoughts on Real Housewives of New York City star Jessel Taank.
Specifically, when talking about her, Tamra said that “every show needs a village idiot.”
“I think she’s great for the show, but she just says things,” she added.
Jessel later responded to Tamra’s comments on Instagram, writing: “Lollllll I think this comment says more about her then [sic] it does about me.”

During the WWHL After Show, Tamra was asked about the women on Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th giving the “OG of the OC” Vicki Gunvalson her flowers in the last episode.
As those who watched the show will recall, many of the cast members felt that the RHOC women didn’t celebrate Vicki, 64, during their time in California.
“I absolutely loved that,” Tamra shared regarding the women giving Vicki her flowers in the finale. “The part that I didn’t love is that a few of the girls said, ‘Because we didn’t do that in Orange County, that’s why we’re doing it now.’ My understanding is it was always supposed to happen there. And, um, when we went, I did a long speech, I know it got cut. Heather brought a cake, like we tried to honor her as much as we could. But we thought we were honoring 20 years of Housewives, not Vicki.”
Speaking of Heather, 57, the topic of Tamra allegedly saying Heather was “trying too hard” on her podcast came up when a fan asked her about it.
“I don’t remember saying Heather’s trying too hard,” she said. “Well, give me more context. What was it about? Was it about the Vena party?”
When the fan said it was about the Vena party, Tamra insisted she didn’t remember saying that, as she’s “great friends” with Heather.
“But Heather was on a hot one that day. She might have had a few too many chams that day,” Tamra added.
After the show, Tamra took to X to post, “I went back and listened to my podcast. I was talking about another Heather from another franchise. 😂❄️,” implying she was talking about Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Heather Gay.
