Monica Garcia is speaking out after being accused of stealing the $60,000 ring Lisa Barlow lost amid their girls’ trip to Palm Springs, California.
As Monica, 39, reacted to the claim and shared a series of supportive messages from fans on her Instagram Story, a sneak peek at an upcoming scene of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reportedly showcases the moment in which Heather Gay, 49, allegedly learned that Monica was the same woman who owed money to her Beauty Lab + Laser spa.
“Hey, what did you find out?” Heather asks in the preview clip.
Then, after learning what the person on the other line had discovered, she says, “Are you kidding me right now?”
As RHOSLC fans may have heard, Heather sued Monica for non-payment on services received at Beauty Lab + Laser — and Monica sued Heather over a supposedly botched procedure.
“Shut the f*ck up. I’m trembling, like trembling,” Heather continued. “I cannot believe it’s her. How could she do this to us? I’m freaking the f*ck out. I’m freaking the f*ck out.”
Following the sharing of the clip, a couple of posts shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, shed more light on the topic, specifically the timing of Heather’s lawsuit against Monica.
“You may wonder if services were in [December] 2019 but why [Beauty Lab + Laser] filed the lawsuit in [August] 2023. Rumor has it that Heather did not realize until the Bermuda trip in May 2023 that Monica was this customer, and that moment is exactly the opening scene of this season!!!” Reality TV Hot Tea explained.
The fan page also wrote, “Heather and Beauty Lab didn’t know it’s the same Monica because she used different last names!!!”
In other Monica Garcia news, she was targeted by a shocking rumor earlier this week in which it was suggested that it was she who was behind the disappearance of Lisa’s ring.
Following the sharing of the claim, she reacted through her fans on her Instagram Story.
“Accused of being on food stamps … Accused of being [three] payments behind on Range Rover payments … NOW accused of being a thief,” one person wrote. “No proof of any of it! … We know what this is and it’s pathetic to see.”
Another fan said, “I love the [Real Housewives] but accusations like this are really gross. Let’s be honest, it makes zero sense for anyone to take the ring and risk getting caught with the money they can make if they get recasted, endorsements, etc.”
Monica also directly reacted to the claims at BravoCon, joking that she was “wearing it right now” before confirming the stone on her finger was actually “only $50 on Amazon.”
“No,” she confirmed to Entertainment Tonight’s Brice Sander in a video shared on Instagram by Bravo Snark Side. “I swear. No, I did not [steal it]. It honestly is long gone.”
