Danny Ramirez is finally suiting up as The Falcon! Newly-surfaced promotional artwork for Captain America: Brave New World has revealed Joaquin Torres as The Falcon for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Ever since Joaquin Torres made his debut as Joaquin Torres in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Marvel fans have been waiting for the character to follow his comic counterpart and take up the mantle of Falcon from Sam Wilson. While the Disney Plus series didn’t quite satisfy fans, it seems Captain America: Brave New World will be delivering on their promise, with Danny Ramirez finally suiting up as the Furious Feather.
Of course, with the film still nearly a year away, Marvel’s marketing department has kept a pretty tight lid on any photos of Danny Ramirez in costume. However, given Captain America: Brave New World was originally set to drop in just a few months, promo art and merchandise have slowly begun to leak. The most recent piece revealed by scooper CanWeGetSomeToast shows off Joaquin Torres’ Falcon suit, providing a much sleeker design compared to its comic origins.
In the comics, Joaquin Torres sports an almost Power Rangers-esque helmet with two distinct black lenses and a yellow break in the middle to resemble a beak. In the MCU, it seems Danny Ramirez will have a single visor as Falcon, taking away the beak motif for an unbroken screen. While it’s hard to make out any other details, it seems as though Captain America: Brave New World has mostly kept the rest of the suit intact.
Captain America: Brave New World Has More Leaks
Joaquin Torres isn’t the only character who’s design got revealed through Captain America: Brave New World promo art. A few weeks ago a similar leak showed off the design of Tim Blake Nelson as The Leader. While he didn’t have as cool of a costume as Danny Ramirez, it’s clear the film is continuing the trend of mixing realism with comic fantasy in the MCU.
Costumes haven’t been the only casualty either. The first look at Harrison Ford as Red Hulk was revealed on a jacket given out to crew members of Captain America: Brave New World, being the first official confirmation that Joaquin Torres and Sam Wilson will be facing off against two super villains in the upcoming MCU film.
That may be where the fun ends when it comes to villains, however. A recent plot leak for Captain America: Brave New World suggests the film has cut the Serpent Society entirely from the final product, making it the second time that particular team was cut from an MCU project following Marvel using them as a joke to hide the truth behind Civil War.
Captain America: Brave New World is currently slated to hit theaters on February 14, 2025. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
