Other Vendors In V Rising
Merchants are interactable NPCs in V Rising that can sell rare and exclusive items in exchange for Silver Coins. These NPC vendors can be killed and respawn like V Blood Carriers; however, players cannot do business with these characters until they’ve unlocked a Vampire Power known as Human Form. Human Form is an ability that allows V Rising Vampires to transform into a hooded humanoid, disguising their true appearance as a bloodthirsty fiend. With this power active, players can approach any Merchant and make purchases without worries of aggression.
Vampire adventurers must slay Beatrice the Tailor, a V Blood Carrier found in Dawnbreak Village of Dunley Farmlands, to unlock transformation in V Rising into a human form. The boss battle is moderately easy as she doesn’t retaliate but instead flees for the entire fight in a frantic manner. After players subdue the Tailor, they can consume her blood to gain the power to access the Merchants of Vardoran.

Where To Find Every Merchant In V Rising
Hunting For Merchants
Once Vampires of Vardoran have procured enough Silver Coins, unlocked Human Form, and have the means to stave away Silver Sickness and Exposure, their next objective is to locate the NPC Merchants within V Rising‘s world. There are currently three traders in the game who can be found in three of Vardoran’s five regions:
Merchant |
Location |
---|---|
Gavyn, the Shady Dealer |
Farbane Woods |
Berk the Traveling Trader |
Dunley Farmlands |
Ottar the Merchant |
Silverlight Hills |
These merchants will only accept a certain currency based on their region. Farbane Woods only has Copper Coins, Dunley Farmlands only has Silver Coins, and Brighthaven Slums only takes Goldsun Coins.
Ottar, the Merchant, is the trader with the highest level and the easiest find. He sits within his shop at a fixed location in the southern portion of Brighthaven Slums. On the other hand, Berk and Gavyn are always on the move, similar to the V Blood Vampire Hunters. Unfortunately, it is impossible to know the exact location of these two Merchants since they cannot be tracked from the Blood Altar like Carriers. Those playing with two or more friends will likely have an easier time locating Berk and Gavyn, as they can cover more ground during a search expedition.

More Vendors In The Camp
The above merchants are part of larger camps with more items from other vendors. Along with these merchants, there will always also be:
- Book Dealer
- Herb & Potion Dealer
- Gem Dealer
These vendors will also have to be approached in a human form and will only accept currency based on the region. However, these vendors sell things that can be found or unlocked in other ways. The Book Dealer sells recipes, the Herb & Potion Dealer sells seeds, and the Gem Dealer sells gems. As you can find all these items yourself, you should not spend your currency on them unless you are in a tight spot.
There is also an unnamed Treasure Hunter vendor, and you must have Goldsun Coins to trade with him. He can be found in a solitary cabin in the Gloomrot North, the exact location of which can be seen in the YouTube video from TerribleTimmy. He has some fairly high-tier items, including a rotating stock of 10 Sanguine Weapons in V Rising and Flawless gems, so it can be well worth the visit if you have the coin.
The Treasure Hunter does not require you to be in Human Form.
There are also two Vampire Merchants in the Ruins of Mortium, one in the southern end and one in the north. The southern Vampire Merchant accepts 750 Stygian Shards in return for Ancestral Shards for any weapon. The Vampire Merchant in the north will only accept 1500 Greater Stygian Shards in return for an Epic Ancestral Shard for any weapon. You will be out quite a few coins or Shards if you visit every vendor or merchant in V Rising.
