We sat down with filmmaker and actor Michael Naizu (“Hacks”, “Christmas is Cancelled”) who recently wrote, directed, and stars in the upcoming feature film “Bound for Glory.”
The film follows an Asian American actor navigating identity, ambition, friendship, and love while trying to survive in Hollywood. The project stars Michael Naizu alongside Janel Parrish (Pretty Little Liars), Blake Jenner (Glee), Jaime King (Pearl Harbor), Chris Kattan (SNL), and Sydney Thomas (WandaVision).
The film is currently under consideration at several film festivals and Michael shares the process of getting it made independently.
