Julian Sands, a British actor recognized for movies like A Room with a View and Leaving Las Vegas, is lacking after he was final seen climbing California’s Mt. Baldy on Friday. A spokesperson for the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Division confirms to Yahoo Leisure that “search and Rescue crews responded and commenced a search.” The information comes as Southern California’s mountains have been pummeled by storms in latest weeks.
“On account of path circumstances and the danger of avalanche, the bottom crews had been pulled off the mountain on Saturday night,” a spokesperson shared on Wednesday. “Nevertheless, we proceed to look by helicopter and drones when climate permits. We are going to schedule one other floor search when the climate improves, and it’s secure for our floor crews.”
Sands, 65, was final seen within the Baldy Bowl space of Mt. Baldy. Authorities urge individuals to “keep away from that space.”

[SAR] efforts are sometimes hampered by poor climate together with harmful avalanche circumstances. The latest storms that introduced the snow and ice circumstances should not favorable for hikers, even people who really feel they’ve a excessive degree of expertise.”
