He might be one of world’s most popular comedians and actors, who has carved out his own success in Hollywood and earned a reported $676 million fortune.
But some fans might not realise just how much of a family man Adam Sandler is.
The American star, 58, who is known for films including Happy Gilmore, Grown Ups and Big Daddy, has been married to actress wife Jackie Sandler, 50, for more than two decades.

The pair tied the knot back in 2003 and have one of the most rock-solid marriages in Hollywood.
So, as the family celebrates the release of Happy Gilmore 2, 9honey Celebrity is taking a look at Sandler’s personal and family life.
What films have his family starred in?
Jackie, who is of Italian heritage, has appeared in numerous of her husband’s films, as have their daughters Sadie, 19, and Sunny Sandler, 16.
Most recently, the family appeared in the 2023 Netflix film You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah.
They have also appeared in Grown Ups and Jack & Jill.

‘Your “I do” was the best gift of my life’
Sandler, who has his own production company called Happy Madison Productions, reportedly met his wife on the set of his iconic film Big Daddy, which came out in 1999 and was a box office hit.
In August 2020, Sandler shared a sweet flashback photo of him and his wife together and spoke about the moment they first met, and how they fell in love instantly.
He penned to his millions of followers: “22 years ago today we locked eyes and fell deep. Look forward to the next 22, young lady. Love you my forever girl.”
In 2023, he shared a rare photograph from their wedding day on Instagram and gushed about his wife, writing on their 20th anniversary: “My heart has been yours since the first second I saw you.”
“Happy 20th my sweet Jackie! Your ‘I do’ was the best gift of my life,” he wrote.

The secret to their long and happy marriage
“Nobody wants to hear about Adam Sandler’s secret to marriage, but I guess here’s the secret: Jackie and I like spending time with each other,” he previously told AARP The Magazine.
“We try to make each other laugh, try to listen, try to include each other, try to support each other. We try our best — that’s all.
“And we don’t ever think of not being together. We always talk about our future together.”
What has Sandler said about working with his wife and kids?
He told E! News this month about working with his kids and on the Happy Gilmore reboot: ”Oh, my god, you’re just relieved. Once they do it well, nothing feels better as a parent.”
“[Acting] is something that the two kids love,” he added.

“My one daughter studied it in school, and my other daughter studies it while doing high school, and they love it.”
About his daughters following in his and Jackie’s acting footsteps he added on The Drew Barrymore Show: “They make it look like I’m forcing them to do it.”
