Andy Grammer and Aijia have welcomed their third baby!
In a new interview with People, the Keep Your Head Up musician and his wife announced the birth of their youngest kiddo. He said to the outlet:
“We’re officially outnumbered. We welcomed our daughter, West Lizette Grammer, on June 17.”
It’s another girl!
This makes the couple’s family complete with three daughters. Their elder children are Louie and Izzy. How sweet! As for the name choice West, Andy revealed his 9-year-old actually picked it! He explained:
“Our oldest daughter, Louie, 9, is named after Louisiana, and Izzy, 6, is Israel. We were trying to figure out if we were going to keep going with the location thing, and then from the backseat Louie said, ‘What about West?’ My wife and I were like, ‘Honestly, that’s really good,’ so we call her Westie.”
Westie!!

He went on to say Aijia is an “absolute hero” for the birth of little West, revealing she had some pregnancy complications. The experienced HG or hyperemesis gravidarum, which is when extreme, persistent nausea and vomiting occur during a pregnancy. Sadly, Aijia experienced this with ALL of her pregnancies — but they’ve decided to stop with three:
“There wouldn’t be anything else worth her going through this except these little girls. She loves our daughters. She did it, and she’s never going to do it again.”
Aijia also revealed the heartwarming thing her hubby did for her after her birth:
“We are thrilled little West has joined us and made us a family of five. This third pregnancy with hyperemesis gravidarum was intense, but we feel that now our family is complete. Andy presented me with a medal that said ‘The Purple Heartburn Award’ for my third tour of pregnancy with HG. I have never felt more seen.”

As for Andy, right now, he says his life is “just so good in a rocking chair with this baby and my two other girls snuggled on top of me”. Love it!
