It appears Jessi Ngatikaura is now beefing with Layla Taylor, too! And yes, it has to do with Fruity Pebbles!
Over the weekend, Layla posted a video to social media of a scene from Season 3 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, in which she asked Jessi’s husband Jordan Ngatikaura if he paid an “hourly rate to rent” out the couple’s home amid their separation. If you watched the show, you know she dropped the iconic question during his awkward meeting with Mom and DadTok about Jessi’s emotional affair with Marciano Brunette. Take a look at the clip (below):

While fans likely laughed at the moment, Jessi isn’t! She blasted Layla in a since-deleted comment, saying:
“Silent during fruity pebbles but let’s continue to roast Jordan that’s cool.”
A lot to unpack here…
For starters, Jordan has been facing a lot of backlash online because of his disgusting behavior toward Jessi on the show. We also found out that he has been emotionally abusive to the hairstylist throughout their relationship, going as far as to blackmail her over her affair. And rather than taking accountability and apologizing, Jordan defended himself on The Viall Files. He even got support from Marciano. Ick. So, that is where the “let’s continue to roast Jordan” remark came from.
And amid all this controversy, we have Pebblegate. Jessi finally exposed what the cereal sex act between Demi Engemann and her husband Bret Engemann meant during the former best friend’s messy feud last week. According to the JZ Styles owner, peepaw — sorry, “grandpa Bret” — “likes to drink her piss like it is dirty soda.” That is what the cast meant by Fruity Pebbles all this time during Season 1. Wild.
A few cast members reacted to the drama afterward, except for Layla. At least Jessi doesn’t feel she weighed in enough. Layla defended herself, though. When someone accused her of “kicking this man when he’s down,” she fired back:
“This is a past tense statement I already said. That’s not perpetuating the situation. Kicking would be saying new statements. This is literally old.”
Hmm. The TikToker also said she commented and texted Jessi about Fruity Pebbles to another fan account:
“It was a lighthearted video with a clip from the show a year ago. And in terms of fruity pebbles, I was texting her and sliding up on her stories and I also think I commented on one of @jordycray videos. I wasn’t aware there was an expectation I needed to get involved and make a video lot of the other women didn’t as well, so I didn’t know that was necessary, but noted moving forward.”
And Layla wasn’t done. She insisted in the comments of @stephwithdadeets‘ video about the drama that she’s been nothing but supportive of the situation:
“I was texting her privately showing my support and checking in. I commented on Jordy’s video about it”
Wow. The drama never ends with MomTok.
At this time, Jessi hasn’t addressed her beef with Layla. What are your thoughts, Perezcious readers? Whose side are you on? Let us know in the comments!
