Antonio Banderas is celebrating as his only child, daughter Stella Banderas, ties the knot.
The 65-year-old took to Instagram in delight, posting a tribute along with a message two days after his daughter married her pre-school sweetheart Alex Gruszynski in a star-studded wedding on October 18.
Banderas, ever the proud father, shared a video slideshow of pictures with his daughter from childhood to the present.
“The wedding of my daughter Stella has turned into a heartfelt family reunion, emotional, joyful, and full of laughter,” he shared.
“Thank you to everyone who made this possible.”
At the end of the slideshow, the Mask of Zorro star was seen holding up a wine glass, toasting to the new couple. He wore a classic black tux as the father of the bride.
The Puss In Boots actor also spoke to the press as he slipped out for a break, telling them about the ceremony.

According to Sur in English, the actor said seeing the 25-year-long friendship turn into a union brought “tears of joy”. The most emotional moment for him was seeing his daughter exchange rings and say “I do”.
Stella tied the knot with Gruszynski in the Abadía Retuerta estate in the province of Valladolid
The roughly 200 guests included many famous family and friends, including mum Melanie Griffith, half-sister Dakota Johnson, her father, actor Don Johnson, and even Michelle and Barack Obama’s daughters Malia and Sasha.
The couple were spotted in paparazzi photos, with the bride wearing a lacy white off-the-shoulder gown with batwing sleeves, while her husband wore a black tux with a matching bowtie.
Stella announced her engagement to Gruszynski via Instagram in August 2024.
“I get to hang out with my favorite person on earth forever!!!!!!!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍,” she shared via Instagram along with photos of the pair growing up together.

Banderas commented on the engagement, telling People, “I feel great! She’s happy, I’m happy.
“He’s awesome. I’ve known him since he was a little kid.”
Ahead of the wedding, he told them, “seeing my daughter dressed as a bride will be one of the most beautiful moments of my life.
“I get to be the father of the bride, and it’s a role I take on with all the emotion in the world.”
