“He saw something in me.” Life After Movies has revealed their official trailer for a documentary film titled As Far Back As I Can Remember… The Story of Goodfellas, looking back at the success and legacy of Martin Scorsese’s iconic 1990 movie Goodfellas. The ultimate love letter to his mafia film with Robert De Niro, Ray Liotta, Joe Pesci, and Lorraine Bracco. Released in 1990, directed by Scorsese and written by Nicholas Pileggi & Martin Scorsese, the film went on to win the Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Joe Pesci) Academy Award after six nominations from the Oscars back then. Often regarded as one of Scorsese’s best (along with many others in his filmography) this doc explores the making of the film, how it turned out so iconic, and how much of an impact it has had on cinema and beyond. With brand new interviews with many of those behind & in front of the camera, including Lorraine Bracco, Irwin Winkler, Chris Serrone, Nicholas Pileggi, Samuel L.
