Australian actress Bianca Wallace has opened up about her life as a new mum.
The 33-year-old wife of Ioan Gruffudd, welcomed daughter Mila with her Fantastic Four actor husband in November, seven months after their wedding last April.
Wallace has been suffering with an aggressive form of multiple sclerosis (MS) since she was a teen and said she suspected she was pregnant when she started feeling unusually well.
That’s because MS symptoms quite commonly go into remission during pregnancy.
“This big wave came over me and I thought, oh, I’m pregnant,” Wallace told Hello! magazine.
“It was almost like an epiphany moment. I beelined to the bathroom and sure enough, within about five minutes, [I had a positive test].”
To call her MS diagnosis eight years ago, at the age of 25, utterly life-changing is no understatement.

Wallace previously revealed it inspired her to quit her accounting job in Brisbane to make a career of acting and ultimately left her first husband.
“I was stuck in a terrible marriage with no support. My now ex-husband would disappear for days,” she wrote previously in a piece for Telegraph UK.
The actress said that for a minute she allowed herself to believe the pregnancy would alter her life again and permanently reduce her MS symptoms.
But those hopes were dashed just two weeks after giving birth.
“MS comes in and it reminds you pretty quickly of who’s in charge,” she told the magazine.
“As soon as you get cocky, MS comes in and smacks you across the head.”
Wallace says holding her precious bundle of joy has made her more cautious about taking risks with her condition.
“The absolute number one thing that being a mum with MS has changed for me is I no longer stand up and walk,” she told Hello!
“I stand very still until I know I’m not going to stumble or fall, because I’ve now got a baby in my arms. I’ve got a lot less bruises.”

Celeb couples we (secretly) wish never split!
The Aussie actress and Welsh actor began dating in 2021, after meeting on the set of TV series Harrow.
However, their early relationship was marred by allegations by Gruffudd’s estranged wife, actress Alice Evans, who claimed the couple had a three-year affair, which they have denied.
Wallace insists they began dating three months after his 14-year marriage ended in March 2021.
