Christopher Lloyd, 87, looked smitten with his wife of almost 10 years, Lisa Loiacono, in a touching tribute to the 55-year-old on Valentine’s Day. The Back to the Future star took to Instagram to share a photo of himself hugging his wife as they smiled for the camera.
Christopher was dressed in blue jeans, a black jacket and black sneakers, while his wife sported ripped skinny jeans, leopard-print heels and a dark T-shirt. “It’s the sweetest love. My Valentine,” he wrote in the caption.
The pair first met in 2012, when she served as the real estate agent for Christopher and his former wife, Jane Walker Wood. Lisa helped sell their new Montecito home after the original building had been burned in the 2008 wildfires.
The actor married Lisa in 2016, and the couple are still close with his ex-wife, Jane, and her new husband. They even shared a quarantine bubble during the COVID-19 pandemic, and Lisa and Jane spent time together each day.
“I hike with your ex-wife every morning,” the real estate agent told Christopher in an interview with The Guardian. “Funny how life turns out,” he added.
Although the iconic star has been married five times, he declared to the publication that Lisa would be his final bride. “Five is the last,” he said, as Lisa chimed in: “Number five is sitting right here!” His first marriage was to actress Catherine Boyd between 1959 and 1971, followed by actress Kay Tornborg from 1974 to 1987.
Christopher then tied the knot with Carol Vanek in 1988, yet they split in 1991, and he went on to marry Jane in 1992 before they divorced in 2005. The Addams Family star never welcomed children of his own.
Christopher recently threw his support behind his Back to the Future co-star, Michael J. Fox, after the 64-year-old made a triumphant return to acting in Shrinking. “Love you Michael,” he wrote on social media, under a clip of his friend on the hit show.
“Michael is this phenomenon – what he’s been through with Parkinson’s and his founding of a foundation to do research and come up with a cure – and his gusto, his excitement,” he shared in a 2025 Forbes interview.
“We get together and do Comic-Con together. He has always got this energy and humor and outlook on life, that I don’t know if I could have come up with his resolve. It’s great.”
Michael previously explained that his and Christopher’s friendship developed on the set of Back to the Future III in 1990.
“Chris is a great guy. He’s very enigmatic,” Michael told Variety. “It took me a few films to get to know him. In Back to the Future Part III, we connected in a way we hadn’t in the other films. I came to see how much he loved acting. I never got that before.”
