An update on Barry Manilow‘s social media accounts has some bad news.
Informing fans of more Las Vegas show cancellations after technical issues forced the 83-year-old legend to cancel Thursday’s show early, Barry’s team wrote:
“We’re very sorry but we have to cancel tonight and tomorrow’s performances. Due to technical and vocal problems, we’re unable to put on our show.”
All refunds are being automatically distributed back to their point of purchase.
Per John Katsilometes of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Barry was performing at Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino until “about 40 minutes in” Thursday night.
Katsilometes reports that after video during one of Manilow’s songs started malfunctioning, and he seemed to experience issues with his ear monitors, he had no choice but to make his way backstage. His team tried to get the show back in action, but a slew of further technical issues, including server issues, required the show’s cancellation.
Two weeks ago, “unforeseen circumstances” occurring about an hour before showtime required rescheduling of his Lexington, Kentucky show as well.
His beloved fans understand, of course, and continue sending their support. Some of the comments on Friday night’s post read:
“You are a legend, with nothing left to prove! Your true fans stand behind your decisions! Hopefully you keep doing what you love in this life!”
“Hope everything works out fine. All the Best Barry, and take care”
“The world understands and loves you”
” Sending Barry best wishes and tons of positive vibes”
“I’m sending you prayers for your well-being and some warm tea for your throat. Please rest.”
“Sorry to hear this. I know you must be disappointed. Take care. Love you dear sweet Barry.”
Like we said, total support!
Back in 2025, the Mandy singer was diagnosed with stage 1 lung cancer but has since been declared “cancer-free” and in remission. He started performing again in February 2026, and we know fans are eager to see him again when all the tech and vocal problems are taken care of.
Much love to you, Barry!
