Billy Ray Cyrus and his Australian singer wife Firerose are going their separate ways. The musician has filed for divorce after just seven months of marriage, according to reports.
People reports it has obtained documents that reveal Cyrus, 62, filed for divorce on May 22, allegedly citing “irreconcilable differences and inappropriate marital conduct”.
The pair tied the knot on October 10.

TMZ first reported the news. When they married in October, Cyrus shared pictures of their wedding day on Instagram with fans and said their ”souls united as one in holy matrimony”.
“For both of us to hear the preacher say ‘Billy Ray and Firerose Cyrus… I now pronounce you husband and wife’ that was the sacred moment our new forever began.”

As Firerose, whose real name is Johanna Rose Hodges, marked their six-month wedding anniversary, she said: “Six months ago, I married this man.”
“Life isn’t always easy… but it sure helps when your husband’s also your best friend. Thank you Lord!”
The pair, who have collaborated on music together, have known each other for years, but reportedly didn’t start dating until August 2022.
Cyrus was previously married to Tish Cyrus.
She filed for divorce from Billy Ray, 62, in April 2022 after 28 years of marriage, with People citing documents saying the pair hadn’t lived together for at least two years before the filing.
Tish and Billy Ray are parents to Miley, 31, Braison, 30, and Noah, 24.

Tish is now married to Dominic Purcell, with the intimate wedding taking place in August last year at a mansion in Malibu, California.
