Blake Lively is trying to course correct amid all the It Ends with Us drama… By leaning on her pal Taylor Swift!
As we’ve been following, the 36-year-old has been getting dragged by fans for “making a joke” out of the IEWU press tour — from seemingly selling it as a popcorn romance while it’s in reality a very serious story about domestic violence, to her reported feud with co-star/director Justin Baldoni. Fans have felt like she’s really dropping the ball at every turn! But who could hate someone who’s besties with Taylor Swift?? Well, that’s what Blake seems to be banking on!
During an appearance on BBC Radio 1 on Wednesday, Ryan Reynolds’ wife responded to a fan question about the Eras Tour performer removing Love Story from her setlist in lieu of a less popular song. Blake sarcastically responded:
“Ooh, that’s rough. Why? You just hate happiness or joy? Or just your ears? You don’t like your ears?”

Gushing about her BFF, the mom of four adds:
“I mean honestly, I wish the concert was just, like, 47 hours long so that all the songs could be played at all times. So my popular opinion is that [I want] all, like, yes.The [question] is ‘Which song?’ the answer is Yes. ‘What’s the setlist?’ Yes.”
She argues that her take is a “popular opinion,” and confesses that she hasn’t been to “enough” of Taylor’s Eras Tour shows. You can hear her talk about it (below):
Oof… Everybody knows they’re tight, but, like, was this just an attempt on Blake’s part to try and salvage her reputation by saying the “popular” thing??
